This set of four ceramic coasters, part of our World Heritage Coaster Collection, draws inspiration from two beloved Scandinavian decorative traditions: Swedish Kurbits and Norwegian Rosemaling. Both are known for flowing botanical forms, curling leaves, flowers, and richly ornamental patterns, which come together here with Nordic wildlife and the changing seasons.
Spring Awakening (Vår)
A stylized Arctic Hare sits framed by blooming spring tulips, fresh flower buds, and geometric leaves. Rendered in sage green, mustard yellow, and cornflower blue with red accents, it symbolizes renewal, gentleness, and vitality.
Summer Majesty (Sommar)
A majestic Reindeer with geometric antlers is surrounded by summer roses, lush foliage, and botanical flourishes. Set in royal blue, forest green, and marigold yellow, it represents grace, abundance, and strength.
Autumn Harvest (Höst)
An European Elk (Moose) profile is framed by rows of autumn berries, wheat-like stems, and rich harvest elements. Displayed in terracotta orange, burnt ochre, and deep brick red, it embodies resilience, bounty, and endurance.
Winter Stillness (Vinter)
A sharp Arctic Wolf stands amidst crystalline frost-like Rosemaling scrolls and geometric stars. Colored in deep navy, midnight indigo, and muted red accents, it celebrates quiet wisdom, protection, and inner peace.
